Information we collect

The public catalogue can be browsed without creating an account. Bag contents are stored in the browser on the customer's device. If checkout is activated, we may receive the name, email, phone number, delivery and billing details, selected products, order value, payment status and provider references needed to process and support an order.

We do not ask customers to send or store full card numbers, card security codes, crypto private keys or recovery phrases on this website.

Why we use information

We use personal information to provide checkout, verify payment status, fulfil and deliver orders, issue receipts and refunds, prevent fraud, answer support requests and meet legal or accounting obligations.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand visits, catalogue activity and the checkout journey. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar identifiers and may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, and interactions with the site. We do not deliberately send customer names, email addresses, delivery addresses or payment credentials to Google Analytics.

Advertising signals are disabled, including Google advertising personalisation signals, in our Analytics configuration. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Service providers

Where a customer chooses an activated payment route, information needed for that route is handled by the relevant hosted payment provider. Hosting, transactional email, fraud prevention, delivery and professional advisers may also process limited information for us. Some providers may process information outside Australia under their own security and privacy arrangements.

Access, correction and complaints

To request access to or correction of personal information, or to raise a privacy concern, contact bearactivewearaus@gmail.com. We may need to verify identity before releasing order information.

Retention and security

We retain order and transaction records only for operational, dispute, fraud-prevention, accounting and legal needs. We use hosted payment pages so sensitive payment credentials are not collected by Bear Active Wear.
